Story

At Sainsbury’s, we have a clear mission - good food for all of us. We believe that every child should grow up nourished, strong and full of possibility. No parent should have to skip a meal so their child can eat. But today in the UK, 1 in 7 families are going hungry and over 2 million children don’t have enough food to grow, learn and thrive. Together with Comic Relief, we're working towards a future where every family in the UK has access to good food, so no child goes hungry.

In April 2027, I'll be taking on the London Marathon and running 26.2 miles for Comic Relief as part of their Move for Meals campaign. Running the London Marathon is a huge personal challenge for me, but it also gives me the opportunity to raise money for a cause that can make a real difference.

I have committed to raising at least £2,500 for Comic Relief, and I'd love to go beyond that if I can. Over the coming months I'll be putting in the training, running plenty of miles and taking on a few fundraising challenges along the way. I'll also be sharing the journey from training through to the start line in London.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean a huge amount and will help me get closer to my fundraising target.

Thank you to everyone who has already supported me, donated or shared the page. I genuinely appreciate it.

Now for the training - and 26.2 miles in London!
