How do I set up a JustGiving page?
If you are a colleague, click ‘Start fundraising’ at the top of the page.
1. Click start fundraising.
2. Create a JustGiving account with your Sainsbury’s or Argos email address – just make sure you’re using a different password.
3. Fill out the ‘Create fundraising page’ form, use your location (if fundraising for a team) or individual name as the page name, and set a fundraising target. We recommend £2,500 – but you are welcome to change this.
4. Stores only: Click ‘Yes’ to ‘Are you fundraising for a store?’ and add your store number.
5. Customise your page’s image or description if you wish.
6. Share the link on your store’s Viva Engage page so your colleagues can see it.
7. To view donations raised from your Move for Meals challenges and individual challenges on JustGiving, visit the ‘Leaderboard’ tab and search for your donation.
For stores: If you would like to remain anonymous when setting up your store's fundraising page, please ensure to set up your 'First' and 'Last' name as your store name.
For example, if your store is Nine Elms
'First name' = Store
'Second name' = Nine Elms
How can I view my store/Depot/LFC/SSCs JustGiving total?
You can find your store by using the search bar on the leaderboard page here.
How can I create a QR code and share a JustGiving page with others?
You can copy your fundraising page URL from your browser to share with others. If you’re fundraising in public, such as in a store or at an SSC, you can generate a QR code by following the steps below:
- Copy and paste your fundraising page URL into the browser
- Add /qrcode at the end
- A QR will be generated that can be copied and pasted into posters, emails, PowerPoint presentations etc.
Can I display a QR code in store?
To put the QR into a poster, click ‘download your poster’ under the QR code on your fundraising page. Once you click the button a poster will be created for you to print or download.
These posters can be displayed you are doing your challenges. Or they can be displayed to customers using your community noticeboards.
How can I see how much customers have donated to my store, beyond JustGiving?
Visit the Move for Meals page on Our Sainsbury’s to see all customer donations, plus donations made via JustGiving.
Where will the money I raise go?
All the money you raise via your JustGiving page will go directly to Comic Relief. Every penny donated will be doubled by Sainsbury’s and will be used to support organisations that aim to tackle food insecurity. Find our more information here.
