Story

💙 Move for Meals – Part 2! 💙

Following the fantastic support at Penrith Sainsbury’s over the summer, where our amazing customers and fundraisers raised an incredible £2,500, we’re ready to go again!

This time, I’ll be swapping the Lake District mountains for the streets of London as I take on the London Marathon, representing Penrith and the North Zone.

There’s plenty of hard work, training and fundraising ahead, with a few challenges along the way, but it’s all for a fantastic cause.

If you’re able to, please share, support or donate whatever you can. Every little helps, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the support along the way.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. Let’s see what we can achieve together! 💙

At Sainsbury’s, we have a clear mission - good food for all of us. We believe that every child should grow up nourished, strong and full of possibility. No parent should have to skip a meal so their child can eat. But today in the UK, 1 in 7 families are going hungry and over 2 million children don’t have enough food to grow, learn and thrive. Together with Comic Relief, we're working towards a future where every family in the UK has access to good food, so no child goes hungry.

Sainsbury’s will match every pound you raise, doubling the impact of all our efforts.
