Story

On Saturday the 24th of April 2027, I will be stepping out of my comfort zone to run my first-ever marathon: the iconic London Marathon.

I am taking on this massive 26.2-mile challenge to raise money for Comic Relief.

Why Your Support Matters
Right now, the reality for many families is devastating:
• 1 in 7 UK families are currently going hungry.
• Over 2 million children do not have enough food to properly grow, learn, and thrive.

Comic Relief, alongside Sainsbury’s, is working toward a future where every single family has access to good food, so no child goes hungry. Your donations will directly fund life-changing initiatives, including local food clubs, after-school meals, and school holiday clubs.

My goal is to raise £2,500.

If 100 people donated £1 per mile I will exceed the target, but why not donate £1 per kilometre or £2? Even better, Sainsbury’s will match every single pound donated meaning £25 becomes £50, and the total amount raised doubles to £5,000!

Please donate whatever you can spare, or simply share this page with your friends, family, and networks. Every penny counts.

To understand why this cause is so important take a moment to watch this short film featuring a powerful poem by Comic Relief co-founder Richard Curtis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgZ6hu2zLc0

Thank you so much for your support!
